What to include

What to put in an email signature for realtors

  1. Your name and title

    Licensed Real Estate Agent, Broker or Broker Associate. Use REALTOR® only if you are a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.

  2. Your brokerage

    The brokerage name, and the office address if your brokerage asks for it.

  3. Your license number

    Many state real estate commissions treat email as advertising. Check your commission's rules and add the number if they ask for it.

  4. One phone number

    Your mobile. Buyers text and call the number they see first.

  5. One link

    Your listings page or website. One link gets more clicks than five.

  6. A headshot

    Clients remember faces. Use a small headshot or your brokerage logo, not both.

  7. Your contact card

Leave these out

  • A second or third phone number
  • Listing photos inside the signature (they get blocked or show as attachments)
  • Quotes and slogans
  • More than two social icons

Add it to your email

Add your signature to Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail

  1. Copy the finished signature from the generator.
  2. Gmail: Settings, See all settings, then Signature on the General tab. Paste it and set it as the default for new emails and replies.
  3. Outlook: Settings, then Accounts, then Signatures. Paste it into a new signature and choose when to use it.
  4. Apple Mail: Settings, Signatures, then pick your account and paste it.
