AI Concierge

AI Concierge for engineers

Ask who does anodising, or who you met at the show that made enclosures, and get an answer from your own notes instead of scrolling a contact list.

You rarely open a contact list to browse. You open it because a design changed, a supplier fell through, or a problem you have seen before has come back, and you need a specific person today.

The AI Concierge sits on top of the contacts and notes you already recorded and answers that kind of question the way you would ask a colleague across the desk.

01

The question is never "show me my contacts"

An alphabetical list answers "what was their name", which is the one thing you have already forgotten. The questions that actually come up are about capability and context.

  • Who do I know that does anodising?
  • Who was the contract manufacturer with the six-week tooling?
  • Who did I meet at the show that made machined enclosures?
  • Who helped with the thermal issue on the last project?
02

Ask in ordinary words

Type the question the way you would say it. The Concierge reads across your contacts, tags, and notes and answers with names and the context you recorded.

  1. 1Record notes as you go: what they make, their constraints, where you met.
  2. 2Open the Concierge and ask a plain-language question.
  3. 3Get an answer with the specific contacts and the notes behind them.
  4. 4Follow up in the same thread to narrow it down.
03

It is only as good as your notes

The Concierge does not know anything you did not tell it. It reads what you recorded, which is why the habit of adding a line at the booth is what makes it work later.

A contact noted "injection moulding, ABS and PC, six-week tooling, tight tolerances" is answerable. A contact with a name and a company is not.

04

Before the show, not just after

The obvious use is finding a supplier under deadline. The quieter one is preparation: before a show or a review, ask what you already know about the companies you are about to see.

Walking into a booth already knowing what they quoted last year changes the conversation.

05

Your notes stay yours

The Concierge answers over your own private data. Notes on suppliers, pricing, and constraints are not published, not shared with the company you recorded them about, and not visible to anyone you have not chosen to share with.

06

Where it fits alongside the rest

Scanning gets people into the list, notes give them context, and the Concierge is how you get them back out. Skipping the notes is what breaks the loop.

Anything your notes could answer: who does a given process, who you met at an event, what a supplier quoted, who to call about a recurring problem. It answers with names and the recorded context.
